                         L) What Comes With ...                                           M) Screen Colors                                                 N) Lottery Maintenance                                           Q) Quit                                                                                                       To  make a selection type in the appropriate letter  in upper  orlower case.  For example,  to select 'Find My Number' type 'E' or'e'.                                                             SELECTION  A:  General Information and License Agreement                                                                          This selection provides the terms and conditions  that  all usersmust abide by. Violators may be prosecuted.                                                                                                                                                        SELECTION  B:  Add more Draw Numbers                                                                                              This  routine  is  for  updating  the  LOTTO MANIA  databases  toinclude draw dates and numbers that have occurred since the  lastupdate to these databases. It includes two separate functions.                                                                    The  first  function is for entering new numbers and  dates.                                                                      The  second  function is  for updating the  programs databases toinclude  these  numbers.  It is  possible to  enter  several  newnumbers and dates and to do a  single update.                                                                                                                                                      more ...                                                                                                                          SELECTION  C:  Examine Draw Database                                                                                              This  routine  is  for examining the main  Draw  Database,  whichcontains the draw date, the six regular numbers and if applicablethe bonus number for all draw  dates that  have  been entered andsaved.                                                                                                                            You  have the option of examining the whole database or the  last'n' entries, where 'n' is user specified.                                                                                                                                                          SELECTION  D:  Frequency of Numbers Drawn                                                                                         This  routine  is for examining the frequency of  numbers  drawn.Each draw consists of six regular numbers  and  if applicable thebonus number.                                                                                                                     For each of these numbers, this routine keeps track of the numberof  times it  has occurred  as a regular number,  or  as  a bonusnumber, and the total of number of times it has occurred.                                                                         SELECTION  E:  Find My Number                                                                                                     This routine is for finding draws that contain specific  numbers.For  example,  find all the draws containing the number  '1',  orfind all the draws containing the numbers '1' and '32'.  The usercan specify up to six  numbers to search for and when applicable,whether or not to include the bonus number in the search.                                                                                                                                          SELECTION  F:  Check My Number                                                                                                    This  routine is for checking a complete draw number selected  bythe  user.  It  differs  from 'Find My Number' in  that  all  sixnumbers   must  be  entered  and  a  more  detailed  analysis  isperformed.                                                                                                                                                                                         SELECTION  G:  Even - Odd                                                                                                         This routine is used to examine the databases containing even andodd information on the draws. A separate database exists for eachcombination  from all even through to all odd,  along with a drawsummary detailing how many fall into each category.                                                                                                                                                SELECTION  H:  Decades                                                                                                            This routine provides a means to examine draws with 3,4,5 or morenumbers  per decade. For example draws with three or more numbersin the thirties decade ( 30 - 39 ).                                                                                                                                                                SELECTION  I:  High Flyers                                                                                                        This routine is for finding groups of numbers that have  occurredmore  often  than others in the past.  It is possible to  examinegroups of 2,3,4,5, or 6 numbers. The High Flyers 2's  for examplecontains  all  the  pairs  that have  occurred  to   date  sortedaccording  to the most number of occurrences.  It is possible  tolook  at  a  whole file or a portion of it.  For the  High  Flyersingles select 'D  Frequency of Numbers Drawn'.                                                                                   SELECTION  J:  Low Flyers                                                                                                         This  routine is the opposite of the High Flyers.  The files  aresorted by the least number of occurrences. These files are merelythe reverse order of the High Flyers files.  That is, it  doesn'tinclude the Low Flyers with zero occurrences.                                                                                                                                                      SELECTION  K:  Computer Picked Numbers                                                                                            This routine allows the user to pick potential play numbers.  Thenumbers  are chosen  either  using a pseudo random generator withuser specified rejections according to the number of even and oddnumbers; from the High Flyer  1's, 2's, or 3's databases; or fromthe Wheeled 1's utility that allows the user to pick draw combin-ations of the best 6, 7, or 8 numbers, either in the whole  data-base or the last portion of it.                                                                                                                                                                    more ...                                                                                                                          SELECTION  L:  What Comes With ..                                                                                                 This routine is for determining what other numbers come with yournumber.  For  example  if  you choose 5,  What  Comes  With  willdetermine how many times all the other numbers have occurred with5.                                                                                                                                                                                                 SELECTION  M:  Screen Colors                                                                                                      This routine allows selection of foreground and background colorsfor monitors  that  support  color,  or to reset the display backto the default colors.                                                                                                                                                                             SELECTION  N:  Lottery Maintenance                                                                                                This selection  allows the  user to  access information about thecurrent  lottery  or  any  lottery   supported  by  the  program.Depending on the version  of LOTTO MANIA routines may be providedfor creating a custom lottery, deleting lotteries, reducing data-base  size by  eliminating  old draw  numbers,  switching betweenlotteries, registering  the software,  applying for a PIN number,and entering a PIN number.                                                                                                                                                                         SELECTION  Q:  Quit                                                                                                               LOTTO MANIA is  a  menu  driven program.  Upon exiting one of theroutines  such as Decades the program returns to the  Main  Menu.Selection  'Q'  of the Main Menu exits the program and return  toDOS.                                                                                      Colors  are  chosen using the Background Color  Selection  Menu. example,  after  exiting Help,  selection 'A' would result  in  abackground color of blue.                                                                                                                                                                          Check  My Number is routine to check a draw number entered by theuser.  All six numbers of the draw number must be entered.  CheckMy Number verifies whether or not the draw number has occurred asa regular Winning Number, or  as a Five plus Bonus Winning Number(Canadian 6/49 only).                                                                                                             It  also provides information concerning the number of  even  andodd  numbers  in  the draw number,  and whether or  not there areany decades containing more than 3,4, or 5 numbers.                                                                               In addition Check My Number breaks the draw number down into it'scomponent  parts.  That is the 6 five digit numbers,  the 15 fourdigit  numbers,  the  20 three digit numbers,  the 15  two  digitnumbers,  and the 6 one digit numbers.  It also checks the numberof occurrences  of  each.  This check is made  only  on  the  sixregular  numbers  and not on the bonus number.  Therefore  the  5digit,  4 digit, and 3 digit total number of occurrences is equalto  the number of times this number would have generated a  prizeif it had been played since the beginning.                                                                                        Check  My  Number can take a couple of minutes to  complete.  Theactual time will depend on your computers speed.                                                                                  After you exit Help type:                                                                                                                   A) to run Check My Number                                        B) to return to the Main Menu                                                                                           If  you select A) you will be asked to enter the number you  wishto  check.  Your  number  must consist of  six  separate  numbersentered  in any order.  If  you omit a number or enter  a  numberoutside the database's range,  the program  will let you fix thismistake before proceeding.                                                                                                        You have just completed running Check My Number.  The results canfirst  be  viewed on the screen and then on the printer  or  viseversa.  If you are finished reviewing the results,  you can checkanother number or return to the program's Main Menu.                                                                              After you exit Help type:                                                                                                                   A) to display results on the screen                              B) to print results on continuous forms paper                    C) to print results on sheet paper                               D) to check another number                                       E) to return to the program's Main Menu                                                                                 NOTE: Printing the results using C) requires two pages. SelectionB) requires only one page,  however your printer must be  capableof printing 66 lines per page.                                                                                                    This  routine  is  for examining the main  Draw  Database,  whichcontains  the draw date,  the six regular numbers and  the  bonusnumber (optional)  for all draw  dates that have been entered andsaved.                                                                                                                            You  have the option of examining the whole database or the  last'n' entries, where 'n' is user specified.                                                                                         After exiting Help type:                                                                                                                    A) to display the entries on the screen                          B) to print the entries on the printer                           C) to return to the program's Main Menu                                                                                 If you select A) or B) the number of records in the database willbe  displayed and you will be asked to enter the number you  wishto see.  If you make a null or zero  entry the program returns tothe  Main Menu.  If you request a non zero number of records,  20for example the last twenty records in the database are displayedor  printed.  If  you  request the maximum or  greater  than  themaximum then the whole database is displayed or printed.                                                                          This routine is for finding draws that contain specific  numbers.For  example,  find all the draws containing the number  '1',  orfind all the draws containing the numbers '1' and '25'.  The usercan specify up to six numbers to search for and whether or not toinclude the optional bonus number in the search.                                                                                  After exiting Help type: (If Bonus supported)                                                                                               A) to find your number excluding bonus numbers from the             search                                                        B) to find your  number including bonus numbers in  the             search                                                        C) to return to the programs Main Menu                                                                                  Selection A) is recommended,  so that your results are consistentwith  other routines such as Flyers and Check My Number.  If  youselect  A) or B) Find My Number will start and you will be  askedto  enter  the  numbers you wish to find.  You can enter 1  to  6numbers. If for example you want to find the draws containing '1'and '25' enter '1' when prompted for the first number, '25'  whenprompted  for the second number,  and make a null entry  by  justpushing 'ENTER' when prompted for the third number. If you make anull  entry  when   prompted  for the first  number  the  programreturns to the Main Menu. Your numbers can be in any sequence theprogram  will sort them and display them giving you the option oftrying again or quitting if you make a mistake. If you accept thenumbers a search is made and the program moves to the second menufrom  which you choose the screen or printer for  displaying  theresults.  The second menu also allows you to find another number,however  you  have  to return to the first menu  to  change   theinclude/exclude bonus option.                                                                                                     You  have just completed running Find My Number.  The results canfirst  be  viewed on the screen and then on the printer  or  viseversa.  If you are finished reviewing the results,  you can  findanother number or return to the program's Main Menu.                                                                              After you exit Help type:                                                                                                                   A) to display results on the screen                              B) to print results on the printer                               C) to find another number                                        D) to return to the program's Main Menu                                                                                 This  routine  is for examining the frequency of  numbers  drawn.Each draw consists of six regular numbers plus an optional bonus number. For  each  of the numbers,  this routine keeps  track of the number of times it has occurred as a regular number, or as a bonus number, and the total of number of times it has occurred.                                                                   After exiting Help type:                                                                                                                    A) to display the entries on the screen                          B) to print the entries on the printer                           C) to return to the program's Main Menu                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               This  routine provides the means to find and identify draws  with3,4,5 or more numbers in a single decade.  For example draws withthree  or more numbers in the thirties decade,  that is three  ormore numbers in the range 30 to 39.
